Donald Trump swept 3 states in Tuesday’s Republican Primary, with wins in Michigan, Mississippi and Hawaii, giving him a total of 15 states.  Sen. Ted Cruz took Idaho, beating Trump by 20 points.  Neither Sen. Marco Rubio nor Gov. John Kasich won any states.

So far, Trump has a total of 456 delegates and Cruz has 363.  Sen. Marco Rubio has more endorsements than any GOP candidate, but so far it does not matter.  He trails Trump and Cruz with153 delegates.   Kasich has none.

On the Democratic side, Sen. Bernie Sanders was the surprise winner in Michigan, beating Hillary Clinton by 13 points.

Clinton continued her winning spree in the South, beating Sanders in Mississippi by 65 points.  The win pushes Clinton over the halfway mark of the number of delegates needed to win.  She has 1,193 and Sanders has 569.

She also won in Hawaii and Idaho.

The candidates are off to the decisive states of Florida and Ohio next week.
