Parent School. We celebrate Black History Month to recognize the achievements and contributions of African American champions who have inspired others to achieve success. Our colorful Art Gallery will feature works of Art by students k-12 along with Local Artists.  There will also be a special Digital Art Display by world-renown African Artist Synthia Saint James. Visitors will have a chance to win 1 of 30 [specially autographed for this event] copies of her first art book ‘My Multicultural World’ that includes 65 of her paintings in color! There will also be live outdoor performances throughout the day including West African Drummers, Dancers, and stilt walkers.  Guests will also be able to participate in an outdoor paint and sip with local Inglewood paint artisans A Toast to Artistry.  Featured beverages by Ellis Isle Tea, founded by Nailah Ellis-Brown who made history with the largest Black woman-owned beverage company in America.
