Okay Ladies, now let’s get in formation!
It’s March, which means it’s time to celebrate Women’s History Month! And if you’re a Black
woman, shout out to you for getting back to back celebrations as a fabulous Black History
Month just came to a conclusion.
Yes, March is all about the Woman. Our contributions to humanity (outside of giving birth, of
course) and the hard earned achievements, struggles, losses and sacrifices made over the
years by women. From the somber and reflective to the purely frivolous, here are some key
events you should have on your radar this month. Pull up and strut your stuff girlfriend!!

This 2-hour workshop takes place on March 8 from 1 pm to 3 pm and is hosted by Black
Feminist Future. It’s a network of Black women and gender-expansive folks who gather to
envision and discuss what it means to thrive individually and collectively. All ages are welcome
and food will be provided but this event is exclusive to people who identify as Black and female/femmes.
