Time to Renew Yourself

“Why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here, but he has risen.”—Luke 24:5
With 2025 not even 4 months old yet, it may feel like you’re moon-walking on a hamster
wheel. You can barely gain traction (let alone move forward) before some unexpected
thing comes along to knock you backward.
With so much coming at us simultaneously, it’s not hard to lose sight of the things that
really matter—health, family, friend, and the comforts of home. It’s time to take a
breath.
Easter, or Resurrection Sunday, is an opportunity to surrender, let go, forgive, let
bygones be bygones. While we cannot control prices or whatever is happening
politically, we can control ourselves—our bodies and our minds. We can remain diligent
in pursuing our goals and resist becoming unglued by the news of the day.
Spring has sprung, and with that comes the blossoming of flowers and seasonal fruit.
The earth looks different now than it did just a few short weeks ago. The potential to
change yourself is just a present, though you may not see it at the moment.
The time is right for checking in. How are you feeling? Is it time for a physical exam?
Time to fix a broken relationship or step outside your comfort zone?
Like the scripture says, don’t waste time looking for the old, rehashing the past, when
it’s time to embrace the new.
I invite you to take a pause this Easter Season. Notice how far you have come, and ask
how you can bring my “life” into your life. Rise up, resurrect, ascend!
