Touch A Truck Event
The City of Inglewood is thrilled to host its first-ever Touch A Truck event on Saturday, May 3
from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Rogers Park. This family-friendly outdoor experience gives
kids the chance to get up close with the fire trucks, police cars, ambulances, and other
specialized vehicles that keep our community running. Enjoy a day filled with arts & crafts, a
photo booth, face painting, food trucks, and more!

This April, the 9th Annual LA Get Down Festival returns to Greenway Court
Theatre, our month-long celebration of Hip Hop and Spoken Word. Join us for a
series of incredible events including our Hip Hop Cipher with The Neighborhood
Kids, our Opening Ceremony headlined by Figgy Baby and workshops and
showcases in collaboration with artists such as Soulstuf, Matt Sedillo, and Gay
Bones Productions. We will also have a showing of Gia Scott-Heron’s acclaimed
play Bluesology and the return of Gold Standard from Palms Up Academy as well
as the Inkslam Invitational brought to you by Da Poetry Lounge.
