Hollywood Park, the largest urban mixed-use mega development under construction in the Western United States, is announcing new retail tenants that are slated to open this summer. JD Sports, Iconix Fitness, and Cosm Los Angeles all will open Summer 2024.
The new tenants will join Cinépolis Luxury Cinemas and Residency Art Gallery—both now open—in addition to future tenants including Google’s Code Next Lab as part of Hollywood Park’s dynamic shopping, dining and entertainment district located at Prairie Avenue and Century Boulevard in Inglewood.
“Hollywood Park was designed to be a global destination where people live, work and play, and the addition of these retailers brings us closer to that vision,” said Rob Aylesworth, Project Director, Hollywood Park. “We are pleased to welcome JD Sports, Iconix Fitness and Cosm to our growing retail portfolio, giving people more reasons to come visit this one-of-a-kind destination.”
Developed by Los Angeles Rams Owner/Chairman E. Stanley Kroenke, Hollywood Park consists of a retail area, office space, sophisticated residences, public parks, a lake, and premier entertainment venues. The mixed-use development is all linked by walkable paseos and plazas, centered around the 3.1 million square-foot SoFi Stadium and adjacent YouTube Theater.
UK-based sports fashion retailer JD Sports will open a more than 7,500 square foot location later this year at Hollywood Park, featuring the latest footwear and apparel from top brands like Nike, Jordan, Adidas and New Balance, among many others. JD Sports also boasts the trendiest accessories, in addition to activewear collections, including Nike Tech Fleece.
Iconix Fitness will soon open a 56,000 square foot flagship location at Hollywood Park. This three-level facility will provide top-of-the-line equipment, expert trainers, an extensive group fitness class schedule, luxury amenities, and unique member social events, all within the club’s signature pristine environment. Later this year, the rooftop will open featuring a junior-sized Olympic pool and outdoor fitness space. A key component to the brand is a focus on the neighborhood community at large. Iconix works to build relationships between members through fun events and is dedicated to giving back to the communities they call home.
Cosm, a leading immersive technology, media, and entertainment company, will officially open its first experiential venue at Hollywood Park on June 29, 2024, with a Shared Reality production of UFC 303. While UFC 303 will be held in person at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on June 29, Cosm’s 65,000 square foot venue, which features an 87-foot-diameter 8K+ LED dome, will give Los Angeles area fight fans the experience of sitting Octagon-side for one of the year’s most highly anticipated UFC events.
Cosm showcases live sports, entertainment, music, immersive art, and more in a whole new way, delivering state-of-the-art architecture and visuals that merge the energy of the crowd with elevated food and beverage service. Fans will feel like they have the best seat in the house at the most sought-after events taking place from around the world.
Prior to officially opening to the public on June 29, Cosm will also host a series of private events and early access premiers at its venue featuring live productions of the 2024 NBA Finals and 2024 Stanley Cup Finals, as well as exclusive immersive exhibitions from world-renowned creators and artists of the Cosm Studios Creator Program. A full slate of programming will be available closer to the venue’s opening date.
Hollywood Park is a city within a city. When complete, Hollywood Park will include up to five million square feet of creative office space, an exceptional retail district reaching up to 890,000 square feet, a 300-room hotel, and up to 2,500 sophisticated new residences. The expansive outdoor-oriented districts will border the 12-acre Lake Park while being interlaced with a total 25 acres of tree-lined public parks and open space.
Hollywood Park’s retail component opened in 2023 with Cinépolis Luxury Cinemas, the first movie theater in Inglewood in nearly 30 years. Residency Art Gallery, a platform for artists of color, opened shortly thereafter. Tenants will continue to open at the near 300-acre mixed-use site in a phased approach.
