Dr. Erika Torres thanks Rams and Lowes for Christmas Trees

IT News Wire

Rams Quarterback JARED GOFF and Lowe’s are teamed up to donate more than 200 Christmas trees to student-families of Inglewood Unified School District (IUSD). During the drive-thru Christmas tree distribution, volunteers will load the pre-lit trees into vehicles in a socially distanced and safe manner.

“In a continued effort to uplift Inglewood, I wanted to participate in doing something special for the city’s families during the holiday season,” said Goff. “When Lowe’s told me about its initiative to donate Christmas trees across the country, I was eager to get involved and humbled to be able to give a bit of joy to the families in our Rams community.”

“The Rams and Jared Goff continue to give back to our IUSD school community during these challenging times,” shared Dr. Erika Torres, County Administrator of the Inglewood Unified School District. “We are grateful to the Rams organization for recognizing our students and families who have worked so hard during this year of distance learning.”

On Giving Tuesday, Lowe’s announced it was donating and delivering $1 million worth of pre-lit Christmas trees in NFL cities nationwide. In Los Angeles, Lowe’s is distributing more than 430 Christmas trees in partnership with the Rams and organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hollywood, Watts-Willowbrook Boys & Girls Club, and Inglewood Unified School District. Goff, who is a Lowe’s Home Team player, identified Inglewood Unified School District families to be Christmas tree recipients.
