As States Across America begin to lift their stay-at-home restrictions people are still very concerned about when and where to travel. Overall flights remain down by 80% compared to a year ago an international travel down 90% compared to a year ago.
The good news is that we will travel again soon and travel will return first to the domestic market with smaller trips then expanding across the region and then finally across continent to welcome the return of fun, long International trips.
Travel Experts say that younger Travelers between the ages of 18 and 40 who appear less vulnerable to covid-19 will begin traveling soon and other age groups to follow as America returns to the “new normal”
However an effective restart of travel will only happen if governments around the world agree to set of Health protocols.
This is the only way to reassure Travelers that it is safe again.
Many changes will be implemented at the airport across the county. Travelers will be expected to wear masks while on board aircrafts and practice social distancing measures inside of airports. Aircrafts will be subject to intense cleaning daily. These are all positive signs we are moving in the right direction and the covid-19 world we live in.
The bottom line is we all want to travel again and with nearly 5 million black Millennial Travelers in the US there is a huge business opportunity for destinations, hotels and restaurants to cater to this market.
Now is the time to think about and possibly purchase that next staycation browse through all the travel website checking and comparing prices because there are a lot of great deals out there.
