Morales: today marks another milestone for us...We’ve moved our tree lighting to market street and it’s better than ever for our residents. Our city continues to be an example of how a diverse city can prosper and share in each other’s culture. Welcome to the new district 3, and feliz navidad to everyone.... We are going to be even better next year. The City of Inglewood hosted the most well attended City Tree Lighting ceremony in our history on Market Street. About 3,500 were in attendance throughout the evening. Mayor James Butts stated; “Tonight parents and children of Inglewood enjoyed a Christmas celebration in the new Inglewood, a City second to none in the country.
