Juneteenth Celebrations took on a special meaning this year because it was announced that beginning in 2022, Juneteenth will become a National Holiday. Wondaland celebrated bo concucting a contact-free food and supplies giveaway on June 19, at Middle School, across from the Inglewood City Hall building.
The drive-thru event, manned by a bevy of volunteers, featured contact-free prepared meals, fresh fruit and vegetables, canned meat, vegetables and fruit, hand sanitizer, grocery boxes, and toys for young boys and girls.
